CR18 Riveter Economy Hand Tool

This riveter is designed to be lightweight and compact, with a slim nose projection, so it can easily travel to wherever the work is. The handle of the tool contains four different nosepieces - 3/32”, 1/8”, 5/32”, and 3/16″ - which can be conveniently stored in the handle. It is an excellent choice for blind riveting applications in aluminum windows, gutter, and downspouts, but it is not recommended for use with 5/32″ or 3/16″ steel rivets (rivets larger than 3.2 mm).

The tool features spring return handles and a comfortable contour grip, which allows for fast and easy operation. To use, simply open the handles and insert the rivet into the tool until the flange touches the nosepiece. Squeeze the handles slightly to allow the jaws to grip the rivet mandrel, then insert the rivet into the pre-drilled work to be fastened. Squeeze the handles until the mandrel snaps, then release the grip on the handles. The mandrel will drop out the front end of the tool when tilted.

This riveter is made of rugged steel construction with a black paint finish and comfortable vinyl grip. It also has a secure handle latch, making it easy to fit in a pouch or pocket for on-the-go convenience.
